We believe that fitness should be an essential part of every child’s lifestyle. At FGC your child’s early experience with physical activity will be positive, healthy, safe and FUN!
Our preschool program is designed to encourage life-long fitness habits and build self-confidence in your child, ages 1 thru Kindergarten.
Our classes are set and structured age-appropriately, and our teacher/student ratio is designed for success.
Children are introduced to the vault, bars, balance beam and floor exercises throughout the 12 week session. We continually work on gross motor activities, gymnastic skills, and body awareness. Our mission is to refine skills, develop balance, coordination, flexibility and all-around strength. All of this is done in a bright positive environment using numbers, colors, obstacles and direction. Our lesson plans and activities ALWAYS EMPHASIZE SAFETY!!

Tiny Tots- Young Tots nearing their first steps |

This is an important developmental step in your child’s life as they begin to build confidence with you at their side. The activities will include ladders, tunnels, ropes, rings, trampolines and basic tumbling. As they mature, they will learn the concept of taking turns and listening to directions, along with group participation. All activities are age appropriate, with a Parent/Child ratio of 1 on 1. |

Mini Gym- Age 3 by September 1st of the current registration year |

Our mini gym class is designed for 3 year old success with a 6:1 student/teacher ratio and is without a parent. We use a “younger” lesson plan with bright colors, numbers, and visuals that allow them to move independently throughout their gymnastics lesson. We strive to turn apprehension into eagerness with fun ideas and activities. |

Nursery Gym- Age 4 by September 1st of the current registration year |
|
Our nursery gym moves to our “older” lesson plan with more challenges and equipment. The class is set up in a circuit to keep the kids moving and active during the class. We focus on teaching the kids the correct way of doing skills on all apparatus while still keeping the overall feel of the class fun! The student/teacher ratio is 7:1. |

Kinder Gym- For students currently enrolled in Kindergarten, or age 5 turning 6 of the current registration year |

While continuing to build our gymnastics skills, our Kinder gym class also focuses a great deal on all-around strength. This class combines skills, conditioning and body awareness to give our students a physical advantage for any and all sports. This class is for girls and boys in Kindergarten with a ratio of 8:1. |

“A Boot Camp for Kids!” Our goals in this class are to increase each child’s strength, flexibility, and overall sports performance. It is awesome for those children who are not getting enough out of their school gym classes. We will concentrate on developing timing, strength, body awareness, speed and overall physical fitness. Any child wanting to participate in future team sports (Football, Softball, Basketball, Soccer, Tennis Volleyball, and Golf) would benefit GREATLY from our KINDER FITNESS PROGRAM! |
